[tldr] Use reposcan however you want. Don't blame us if the GitHub API breaks. Don't pretend our health score is gospel.

1. Use

You can use reposcan for any purpose, personal or commercial. You can fork the codebase, rebrand it, and self-host it.

2. The API

reposcan calls the GitHub public REST API. Your use of that API is governed by GitHub's terms, not ours. We're not affiliated with GitHub.

3. The health score

The score is a deterministic formula over public metadata. It's a heuristic, not a verdict. Don't make billion-dollar architecture decisions based on it.

4. Warranty

reposcan is provided "as is" with no warranty of any kind. If it shows you something wrong, that's between you, GitHub's API, and entropy.

5. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for anything that happens because you used reposcan.
